I just purchased a car from Preferred and worked with Paul. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and very professional. The owner, Jake, stopped to talk with me and share the history of the company. Everyone treated me like I was the most important person in the world. I haven't bought a car in 12 years and they made the entire process very easy. I can't recommend them enough.

I bought my 2015 GMC Canyon from them at Illinois Rd. Legacy and adapting and overcoming is what this business has always been about in my opinion. I didn't even know fully ,or tried to figure it out when I bought the truck I still hang onto. My Canyon has 61,000 miles on it now. Doing research it's one of the nicest left out there of the trucks. This dealership is one of the nicest and honest places in the local area. Give them your business it's worth it!

Bought a 2004 Jeep from their Kendallville location for *dirt cheap* and 7 years later I'm still driving him! I and a few family members over the years have gotten cars with them and have had very good experiences - good prices and never getting cars that were secretly full of problems. If I wasn't out of state now, I wouldn't get a car anywhere else.
Fabulous service and great with customers! They actually SAVED me. I was in a predicament where people in my office were out and I could not leave to go get my car once the service was done. They actually BROUGHT my car TO ME within the hour. I am so thankful! I hate that they no longer do service out of their north location, but I will keep going SW Fort Wayne because they are AWESOME. It came down to a choice between two cars that were essentially the same. Mileage, features , etc. The car at the other dealership was $3K less. I went with Preferred Auto because I appreciated the professionalism of Romario Smith and Jarrad Gettys.
We shopped a number of places in town. Preferred was very low pressure and accomodated us into a newer car after many months of searching. Romario helped us find a car we hadnt considered in all of our searching. It was the perfect car we didnt know existed.
Great experience! Ryan Meeks was not at all pushy, and really listened to what I was looking for and found what I wanted. They worked to make my payments less than what I wanted to pay. Everyone I worked with at the Lima Road location was friendly and helpful. Any cars we buy in the future will be from them!
I'm really happy with the car I bought here. Romario was kind, honest, and went above and beyond to make sure I had all the information on the car. He also had a small imperfection on the seat fixed before I picked it up. I would highly recommend this place.

Issues with my vehicle, not a quick or easy fix. Preferred was without power one day and internet the next- service advisor Cesar used his personal phone to call me and let me know the situation.
