Walked in Friday Jan 2nd with my son to look at vehicles for a teen driver. I was promptly greeted by Justin Gerber who was very kind, professional, and listened to what we were looking for. Justin happened to have the exact car my son was looking for. After a test drive and a little negotiation, we shook hands and started the paperwork. All of the cars at Preferred were nice, clean, come with lifetime car washes, and 1st oil change is free. The Leonard Family has built a great business, and with the expansion of the back lot, will carry 400+ vehicles at a given time. This was my first purchase from Preferred, but it will not be my last. Thanks for the great buying experience Justin, my son could not be happier.

I highly recommend the service department at Preferred Auto Fort Wayne. Their service was excellent and everyone was friendly and patient. They went above and beyond to make the repairs I needed and to get them done in a timely manner so I wouldn't have to be without my car at the end of the day. They explained everything so I could understand. And they provided a free ride home and back to the facility.

Great, no pressure sale experience! We dealth with Justin. We had gone in there to test drive one vehicle and ended up test driving a couple. I bought my 2015 GMC Canyon from them at Illinois Rd. Legacy and adapting and overcoming is what this business has always been about in my opinion. I didn't even know fully ,or tried to figure it out when I bought the truck I still hang onto. My Canyon has 61,000 miles on it now. Doing research it's one of the nicest left out there of the trucks. This dealership is one of the nicest and honest places in the local area. Give them your business it's worth it!

Bought a 2004 Jeep from their Kendallville location for *dirt cheap* and 7 years later I'm still driving him! I and a few family members over the years have gotten cars with them and have had very good experiences - good prices and never getting cars that were secretly full of problems. If I wasn't out of state now, I wouldn't get a car anywhere else.

Fabulous service and great with customers! They actually SAVED me. I was in a predicament where people in my office were out and I could not leave to go get my car once the service was done. They actually BROUGHT my car TO ME within the hour. I am so thankful! I hate that they no longer do service out of their north location, but I will keep going SW Fort Wayne because they are AWESOME. Bought a 2004 Jeep from their Kendallville location for *dirt cheap* and 7 years later I'm still driving him! I and a few family members over the years have gotten cars with them and have had very good experiences - good prices and never getting cars that were secretly full of problems. If I wasn't out of state now, I wouldn't get a car anywhere else.

Fabulous service and great with customers! They actually SAVED me. I was in a predicament where people in my office were out and I could not leave to go get my car once the service was done. Starting with Wade in service, I towed my Buick in and ultimately told me my life was being turned to the side, a little over 6k in repairs. He assured me while his one goal is to make money for the company, his 2nd and most important goal is customer satisfaction and value. Which led me to Brian in Sales. I spoke with Brian a few months prior when I had the same Buick serviced and was able to work with him again. Brian is ultimately amazing. He cared, he was thorough, and he worked hard to get me into an affordable vehicle. One of the vehicles I test drove had a weird sound with the transmission, i of course didn’t even notice. I bought a 2019 Ford F250 from Bailey at Preferred Auto Group. I live over 2 hours away. Most of the details were taken care of over the phone. When I arrived, I took the truck for a drive. It drove well. After a while of paperwork I was ready to go. We were towing a camper and I needed an adapter for the hitch. Found it at a local store. During my drive to the store I noticed the brakes were pulsating under hard braking. I returned to Preferred and spoke with Bailey and Alex. Explained to them I have a 400 mile trip ahead of me and I want to know the brakes will be ok. Alex called his boss, Jared. I spoke directly to Jared and he assured me it would be taken care of. He stayed true to his word. The truck received new brakes and I was off on my adventure. My experience with Preferred was was very good. THANK YOU BAILEY, ALEX AND JARED!!!!!!

I needed to wire funds to account to their business account, unfortunately I needed to wait for the payment to clear before I could take possession of the value. The manager that the company would pay my hotel up to $100. The sale person dropped off at the hotel, of my choosing, and would pick me up to drive back to dealership the next day.

After a terrible experience with purchasing and returning a defective Tahoe to Carvana, I went to Preferred Automotive on Illinois Road after my mechanic recommended seeing Jarred Gettys, their sales manager. On Tuesday, October 4th, I met Jarred and Trent Lewis, who then became my Sales Professional. I told them I was looking for a late model Tahoe or Yukon with low miles and they showed me a couple options. Trent and I then took the silver 2019 Yukon with just over 32,000 miles to my mechanic, Roger at A & T Automotive, and we put it up on the hoist and inspected it head to toe. Roger pointed out a couple things to fix and recommended the vehicle for purchase. Trent and I then went back to Illinois Road and I purchased the vehicle after Preferred agreed to repair or replace the areas Roger and I recommended. I drove it home that same day and now I have exactly what I wanted - a like- new 2019 Yukon where I know exactly what shape it’s in.

Really shocked at how supportive the staff was. Answering all my questions and taking time to make sure I was truly comfortable with my purchase. No pressure at all. First time car shopping at Preferred. Stopped in looking for a vehicle for a friend going through a rough patch. My initial price range was below their typical inventory. However, looking at other vehicles at various dealers, I was willing to spend a bit more as most cars I examined had a lot of miles and potential problems. Two of our kids joined us and when we ended up purchasing the vehicle they had to be there longer than anticipated. The staff was engaging with our kids and very sweet! I can not express this enough! ! Do not waste your time anywhere else. Top notch service, everything explained perfectly, From the owner, to the car washer everyone came up and ask how we were doing and helped us out. I've never had this kind of royal treatment in my life. Car was perfect and exactly what we were looking for.. I hands down will only buy from them moving forward. We are so so happy!! First time car shopping at Preferred. Stopped in looking for a vehicle for a friend going through a rough patch. My initial price range was below their typical inventory. However, looking at other vehicles at various dealers, I was willing to spend a bit more as most cars I examined had a lot of miles and potential problems. Mr Paul Parker stated they just got a nice vehicle perfect for my friends needs. They worked with me on the price and checked the vehicle thoroughly and insured me it was ready to go. It has been fine and trouble free thus far and I feel very confident about the car. The team at Preferred was very courteous and considerate of my particular situation. I will return the next time I need a vehicle.

The easiest auto buying experience I have ever had. I enquired about a vehicle, got a quick response, set an appointment to see the car. Went in to kind of browse, but had a huge dilemma on my hands as well. Jeff greeted me right away, listened to my drawn out story, and we went from there. He understood my pickiness and reasons as to why. Showed me quite a few vehicles ensuring "wants" were checked off. In the end I was able to get the vehicle I wanted! (Mid conversation I pointed at it, and said "what about that one", and she's the one I drove off in! A big THANK YOU to Jeff, and the other staff that helped me!

Joe S. was very professional. He met me outside while I was walking up to the door of the building. I talked to him before hand on the phone with a callback about a vehicle query. I explained my situation and he told me to come on in and see what they could do. The whole process was easy and did a test ride, traded my old car and was shown around the building for service and wash. Completely satisfied with how I was treated.
