General Manager

With my dad being the founder and owner of Preferred Auto, I have grown to see the vast changes of the business ever since I was little. From internet to various locations to service departments. Yet, one thing has never changed: the moral & ethics of the business. My dad has always preached faith, family, work…and in that order. I have had the pleasure working for this tremendous company since I was 16 years old. First, starting off as a lot porter (detailing vehicles, cleaning up the service dept., smashing oil filters, and more). Then, at 17 years old, I sold my first car (2008 Chevrolet Avalanche). That was really when I realized ‘well maybe this is something I could do the rest of my life’. Throughout college I continued to learn different areas of the business, from the parts department to going to auctions to buy inventory with the General Managers. As I continued to learn about what Preferred Auto has to offer, the more I fell in love with the business. Half the battle is do what you love every day, right? I am proud to say that I do. In my personal life, I have met the most kind-hearted & loving girl named Ashley. In July of 2018, came along our beautiful daughter named Penelope a.k.a. “Nellie”. These two girls give me so much perseverance to grow & learn as an individual in both my personal & work life. I am thrilled to see what the future as in store!

I had been looking for a car for two weeks, test driving everything and really contemplating my options. I was a little overwhelmed by this past Saturday when I stopped by preferred without an appointment and Jake greeted my husband and I right away. Jake never got frustrated or tired even though we test drove 3 or 4 cars and he kept engaging with us about what we liked and didn't along with having knowledge about the vehicles. My husband and I knew we really appreciated him and the rest of the staff at the state rd preferred and after taking a couple days to weigh things out we made the jump and Jake and the guys got busy first thing to make the deal happen. Everyone from the manager, finance officers and loan agent to our sales person made us feel important and comfortable even when my husband and I were a little edgy at times. Jake brought my spare key fab, hand delivered to my house with a warm and sincere hand written letter and I am now a huge fan of preferred, they have a client for life. 10/10

Always wonderful to work with Preferred! This is our 6th car that we have purchased from them. They always take such great care of our family. Jeff and Jake were AMAZING to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I highly recommend Preferred Automotive Group. Professional, personable, helpful and they go above and beyond to answer any questions or concerns. I gave them an idea of what I was looking for in a vehicle, including budget, mileage, make and model and features, and they found me just what I was looking for. Jake and Alex could not have been more helpful. In my experience, Preferred Automotive goes above and beyond to make their customers happy and will always go the "extra mile". Most highly recommend this dealership.

My husband and I purchased a new car from Preferred last week. Jake was kind, professional and honest. I had spoke to him over the phone prior to coming in to discuss budget, style, and any other deciding factors. When we arrived, Jake had 5 cars lined up for us to look at/test drive. I was blown away by how prepared and eager he was the help us! The process was smooth and completely stress free. I love my new car and have been recommending Jake/Preferred Auto to all my friends and family. I will continue to recommend this business and will continue to work with them whenever we need a new car!
